POPPY SEEDS STRUDEL – THE MOST POPPY SEEDS!

Poppy seeds strudel was and will always be popular. But what I do remember at least it always looked like lots of dough and very little poppy seeds filling. My poppy seeds strudel is opposite. I did not save poppy seeds at all and I really put as much poppy seeds filling as possible.

THE MOST POPPY SEEDS!
Dough:

150 g buckwheat
50 g flax sed
50 g dates
50 g water
¼ tea spoon of salt

 

Poppy seeds filling:

200 g poppy seeds
1 banana
50 g dates
50 g water
Honey to make it sweeter
PROCEDUR:

Dough:
For the dough you will need buckwheat, which may be non-sprouted or sprouted. It must be dry because we need to ground them. The milled buckwheat and flax seed mix with salt and set aside. Place dates and water to the blender and turn it on. The date paste add to the dry ingredients a mix well. If the dough is too dry add water as needed.

Poppy seeds filling:
Put into a bowl ground poppy seeds. Banana, dates and water put into a blender and mix until smooth. The resulting mixture adds into poppy seeds and stir. Poppy seeds filling can be sweetened with honey, if you wish to have it sweeter.

Put the dough on the desk on the food film. Take a second food film, which lay over the dough and roll with a roller to make it flat. When it is flat then remove the top food film and place poppy seeds filling on the dough. Spread over the whole surface of the dough with the fact that at the edges leave without filling and at the end (ie. The direction where we spin) leave a larger piece of unfilled . Roll the strudel and let it rest in the refrigerator overnight.
